November 14th is World Diabetes Day – a day to promote action to confront diabetes as a global health issue.

Over 425 million people are currently living with diabetes. Most of these cases are type 2 diabetes, which is a lifestyle disease. What that means is, it is largely preventable by our lifestyle choices, e.g. food, fitness, sleep, stress and sunshine!

Here at PreKure our vision is to inspire a change in medicine to be more focused on prevention. Prevention before cure. And this is particularly true for diabetes, one of the big four chronic diseases affecting us all today.
