Graduate Profile: Jayne Fox, ADHD Coach and Mental Health Coach

Meet Jayne Fox, an ADHD Coach, award-winning Mental Health Coach, and Neurodiversity Educator based in Wellington. Her journey from burnout and personal struggle to becoming one of New Zealand’s leading voices in neurodivergent wellbeing is a powerful example of how lived experience, combined with the right training, can transform lives, including your own.

Graduate Profile: Jayne Fox, ADHD Coach and Mental Health Coach

Meet Jayne Fox, PREKURE Certified Master Health Coach, Mental Health Coach of the Year 2024, and founder of Jayne Fox Health Coaching in Wellington.

From burnout to breakthrough

Fifteen years ago, Jayne was burnt out, her health was suffering, and the support she needed simply wasn’t there. As a self-described people-pleasing, over-achieving ADHDer raising three kids, caring for her family, and running a small business, she was doing everything for everyone, except herself.

Rather than waiting for a system that wasn’t built for people like her, Jayne started building her own toolkit. She threw herself into learning about health, neurodivergence, and coaching, navigating grief, long Covid, and significant uncertainty along the way. What emerged was a whole-person approach to mental health and ADHD that she now brings to every client she works with.

A coaching practice built on understanding, not fixing

Jayne’s practice is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: people aren’t broken, they’re just wired differently. Working with neurodivergent adults including ADHDers, AuDHDers and autistic people, as well as neurodivergent families, Jayne offers the kind of support she wishes she’d had earlier: practical, science-backed, trauma-informed, and genuinely affirming.

Her coaching draws on tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the latest ADHD research, and a deep understanding of how neurodivergent brains actually work. Sessions are available online via video call or in person on the south coast of Wellington, with a free 20-minute consultation to get started.

ADHD Wellbeing: growing the reach

Building on her individual practice, Jayne has established ADHD Wellbeing, a Wellington-based ADHD coaching hub bringing together a team of coaches to support more people across Aotearoa. The hub offers ADHD coaching, mental health coaching, and ADHD@Work professional development coaching, extending Jayne’s mission well beyond what one person could do alone.

Jayne holds a BSc (Hons) and is a PREKURE Certified Master Health Coach and Mental Health Coach, an ADDCA-trained ADHD Life Coach, and an ICF ACC credentialed coach. In 2024 she was named PREKURE Mental Health Coach of the Year, a recognition of the depth of impact she is having in her community.
