How are you feeling about it?

 

I was back to emotional eating.

 

I’ve got to tell you that I got a bit stressed when we went back into lockdown. I was back to emotional eating. I didn’t pull any of those three weight loss levers that we were talking to you about only a few weeks ago. Were you on our weight loss challenge, using the three levers of weight loss? The first is what you eat – the quality of the food you’re eating. The second is about when you eat – and the concept of doing some intermittent fasting. And the third is how much you eat.

Well, I absolutely blew it on the first couple of days of Level 3 lockdown. I didn’t pull any of those levers.

 

Even when I know what to do, sometimes I need help to actually do it.

 

Today I woke up really determined that I’m going to focus. Every day I’m going to be pulling at least one of those levers, if not two, and the odd day I might try for three. But what I also thought was just because I’ve got a PhD, my job is in health, I’m married to this awesome professor who knows everything in the health and science area, I’m just human, and I just stuff up. Even when I know what to do, sometimes I need help to actually do it.

 

Today, I have gone and got myself a Health Coach!

 

We’re not sure how long this heightened alert level is going to last. I know that I don’t want to do what I did last time, which was I let my drinking slowly creep up so that by the end of lockdown, I was back to drinking every night. I let the treats come in so that by the end of lockdown, I was having lots of treats. I don’t want that to happen. So, today I have gone and got myself a Health Coach! I went to www.prekure.com, and I got myself a PreKure Certified Health Coach, because I need some help.
