Kent Johns’ focus is on men’s health. Kent went through a patch of feeling stressed, burnt out and demotivated. A diet change sparked new energy and inspiration in him.
Through that path of self-discovery, I realised that this is what I actually want to do. I want to help other people discover their own health.
I became a Health Coach because I genuinely want to help people discover what it is like to reclaim their own health, because I’ve been through it myself. I know what it is to feel stressed, burnt out, over-tired, irritable, feeling flat, feeling demotivated.
I was fortunate that I was put onto dietary change by a dietician. And that sparked in me a level of energy that I was sorely missing. From that energy came this desire to exercise. Where did that come from? Heck, now I’m exercising four to six times a week. And I just have to have that as part of my balanced lifestyle.
I did more reading. I did more research. I became motivated to learn more.
Through that path of self-discovery, I realised that this is what I actually want to do. I want to help other people discover their own health, like I have.
I like working with men, particularly guys in their 40s or 50s, who are burnt out; working too many hours; drinking too much; eating too much bad food; not sleeping well; and spending too much time on their phone. They get onto that mouse on a wheel kind of cycle, where it all happens over and over again.
I believe I have been able to unlock some really good secrets and keys to behavioural and lifestyle change. It worked for me, and I think it can work for others as well.
